PRAYER

Loving God,
As we gather in this season of Thanksgiving,
we pause to give You thanks for the many blessings in our lives —
for family and friends who bring joy,
for our school community that nurtures and supports,
and for the daily gifts of learning, laughter, and love.
May our hearts be filled with gratitude,
and may we share Your blessings generously with others.

Amen.

SUCCESS & SERVICE

  • Thanksgiving Liturgy - Friday, Oct. 7th, we celebrated a beautiful Thanksgiving liturgy to help us reflect all of God's great gifts that we feel gratitude for in our lives. Thank you to Mrs. Ursan, Mrs. Norminton, and Miss Ramirez for preparing their students who led the liturgy so beautifully. Thank you also to Fr. Oliver and Marco from Holy Child Parish for were in attendance. Take a moment to ask your child what they feel thankful for this Thanksgiving season.
  • Gr. 8 Outdoor Education - Our Grade 8 students spent the beginning of last week at Kenosee Lake participating in Outdoor Ed. The weather definitely cooperated and thanks to the phenomenal leadership of Mr. Matlock, Mrs. Puscus, Mr. Brennan, Mr. Angus Hamilton, and Mrs. Forrest the students were able to experience a wide variety of unforgetable educational opportunities in an alternative learning environment.

  • Big & Little Buddies - Did you know that each class at St. Theresa is paired up with a big or little buddy class that they connect with throughout the school year? Whether it's sitting together during a school mass, going on a nature walk to collect autmn leaves, or collaborating on a craft in the library, these oppotunities for fellowship and team building help to create and maintain the caring community that we are so proud of within our school. Take a moment to ask your child if they know the name of their big/little buddy and if they have had the opportunity to do an activity together yet this school year.
